Getting there

Alicante airport is closest to the apartment (Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport) and takes an approx 40 mins drive to get there.

 We highly recommend hiring a car for your stay. Driving in Spain is easy and stress-free, and your smartphone's navigation app will guide you to the apartment without any trouble.  A car gives you the freedom to explore all the beautiful beaches, charming villages, and attractions the Costa Blanca has to offer at your own pace. Costco Car Hire (if you are a Costco Member) 

If you prefer not to drive, we can help arrange a ride for you. We have some local friends who may be able to collect you from the airport. 

Alternatively, you can always get a taxi from the airport taxi rank, which usually costs between €40 and €70 from Alicante, depending on the season.

You can also fly into Murcia airport although that is an hour's drive.

If you wanted to fly into Madrid or Barcelona before your stay Spain has fantastic rail links and you can get a high speed train to Alicante town quickly and easily and we found it to be inexpensive.  Spanish Trains
